Welcome to Hospital/Homebound Website
The Hospital/Homebound School is located at the Fort Gatlin Administrative Center on South Summerlin Avenue in Orlando, Florida. The school serves students throughout Orange County in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our student body is dynamic and reflects the diversity within the communities we serve.
Hospital/Homebound offers a short term instructional program for eligible students whose activities are restricted for at least 15 school days and who are confined to home or hospital by a medically diagnosed physical or mental condition. Teachers provide instruction designed to help the students continue progressing academically in the core curriculum while away from their regular school program. The curriculum at Hospital/Homebound is based upon the Sunshine State Standards, essential academic skills, core curriculum, and Curriculum Instruction Assessment Alignment (CIA).
